Cinema 4D Basics

Here is a basic shape that you work with in Cinema 4D, the coloured arrows all indicate a different axis.

  • The Green Arrow is the Y axis, allowing movement up and down only.
  • The Red Arrow is the X axis, moving backwards and forwards.
  • The Blue Arrow is the Z axis, with left and right movement.

The little yellow squares shown on each of the arrows allows you to change the size of the object. Alternatively you can alter the size with the scale button or object panel properties.
