Today we learnt about different types of VR and AR applications and how they could be used for different jobs.
Some examples included:
Gaming and Entertainment (Oculus Rift, experiencing a game made in Unreal Engine)
Military (Pilot Simulation)
Education (Virtual Learning, you can teach pupils in different locations)
Later on we were introduced to the Oculus Rift, a Virtual Reality product that allows users to experience a 2D/3D world. Although I did not get to test it out for myself, the Rift looked interesting and is a possibility when it comes to creating my own virtual space.
