Virtual Space 17 March 2016

We learnt about the term ‘Cyberspace’ coined by the author William Gibson, specialising in cyberpunk who wrote many books including Neuromancer. According to the website Merriam-Webster, Cyberspace is defined as ‘the online world of computer networks and the Internet’ (“Cyberspace.” Merriam-Webster.com. Merriam-Webster, n.d. Web. 20 Mar. 2016). Although it has several other meanings, from organisations such as the Military, a short extract who mentions from 2003 that it ‘is composed of hundreds of thousands of interconnected computers.’
My opinion on Cyberspace is the space accessible on any electronic devices such as laptops and game consoles.
